Chicago Police Search for CPS Teacher Linda Brown Last Seen Saturday

A 53-year-old teacher was last seen on the South Side on Saturday and has been reported missing, according to Chicago police.

Linda Brown was last seen on the 4500 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Police said to drive.

She may be driving a blue Honda Civic with the Illinois plate CX57470 and is on the 2200 block of West North Avenue.

Brown is 5 feet tall, weighs approximately 130 pounds, and has brown eyes and hair.

Police believe she may require medical attention.

Brown teaches special education at Robert Healy Elementary School. Chicago Public Schools provided Fox Chicago with a letter from the school’s principal informing workers and parents of Brown’s abduction. “I understand that news like this can elicit strong emotions, questions, and concerns in our school community,” wrote Principal Erin Kamradt.

Kamradt stated that the district’s crisis management team would assist kids and staff, and school-based mental health professionals would be accessible as required.

Area One police are requesting anyone with knowledge of Brown’s whereabouts to call 312-747-8380.
