Marion County Sheriff’s officers apprehended a woman accused of ramming a car with children in a Dollar General parking lot.
According to the police record, Kayla Agee, 26, got into an altercation with a woman in the parking lot on Saturday. Agee was apparently upset that the other mom left her kids in her car while she walked inside the store.
According to deputies, Agee purposefully slammed her car into the other woman’s vehicle, which was carrying her children. Agee sped away from the store.
She was later apprehended at a Circle K on West Highway 40 in Ocala. Agee was booked into Marion County Jail for child abuse, aggravated violence, and criminal mischief. She was released from prison on Sunday.
The arrest was not her first in Marion County. In 2017, Agee, who was 18 at the time, was arrested for carrying a taser to West Port High School.
