The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing 4-year-old kid who is believed to be at risk.
Miamor Hernandez Brown, age four, went missing on December 30, 2025, along with her father, Jose Carmelo Hernandez Martinez, and his partner, Erika Alejandra Simich, all of whom live in Cornelius. Child Welfare officials say they are aggressively looking for the child to assess her safety.
ODHS believes the trio may be traveling in the Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Cornelius, or North Portland areas. They are reportedly living in a white Jeep Patriot with the Oregon license plate 863GEF.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the matter under case number 50-25-18325, and it has been added to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children database as case number 2073714.
According to ODHS authorities, if a child goes missing, especially if their safety cannot be confirmed, the agency may issue a public alert to help locate them. In some cases, children may go missing more than once, triggering several warnings.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Miamor Hernandez Brown, Jose Hernandez Martinez, or Erika Simich should call 911 immediately or the Oregon Child Abuse Hotline at 1-855-503-SAFE (7233).
The hotline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and members of the public can report suspected abuse or concerns about children or vulnerable adults anywhere in Oregon.
