Police searched for the suspect, who they believed was armed and dangerous, for more than 12 hours before determining that the victim’s 15-year-old brother was most likely the shooter.

The 15-year-old turned himself in to police on Saturday afternoon and was charged with reckless homicide. Police did not say whether the gunshot was accidental or how the 15-year-old obtained the gun.
