A man was arrested after around 40 gunshots were heard in the 22800 block of House Hahl Road, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 5.
Deputies located a vehicle parked in a dead-end area leading to an open field that emitted a strong marijuana stench. When deputies approached the vehicle, they noticed a handgun magazine on the trunk and approximately 40 spent shell casings outside the door.
The male suspect was discovered in possession of a firearm reported stolen by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The District Attorney’s Office approved charges for unauthorized weapon possession, and the suspect was arrested and put into the Harris County Jail, according to the source.
