Deputies identified Rollins as a suspect while investigating a homicide at 150 Bethel By The Lake Drive, where a woman was discovered dead from gunshot wounds.

Later in the investigation, the U.S. Marshals Taskforce informed deputies that Rollins had been discovered and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility in response to a Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office warrant filed for a separate killing in Valdosta, according to the LCSO.

Rollins allegedly acknowledged to the Bethel By The Lake crime while in detention and informed deputies about a second death he committed in Leon County.

According to the LCSO, detectives used information provided by Rollins to find another woman in the Apalachicola National Forest who had died from gunshot wounds. According to deputies, the Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the woman died while pregnant.

According to the Leon County Clerk of Courts’ website, Rollins is a repeat offender, with offenses dating back to 1994.

The LCSO stated that the investigation is ongoing and that additional charges may be made. Anyone with information should contact the Consolidated Dispatch Agency at 850-606-5800.
