State police continue in their search for a Pennsylvania man who has been missing since May 2024.
Pennsylvania State Police Frackville are continuing their search for 43-year-old Donald George “DJ” Hamaker, who was last seen fishing at a local strip mining pit known as the “A” hole in Girardville on May 28, 2024.
Police said Hamaker went fishing with friends at 3:00 a.m., when the pit was meant to be closed off.
Later that day, Hamaker’s kayak was discovered flipped in the pit, with his fishing poles still tied in the kayak but his bait on shore.
Authorities scoured the pit, but Hamaker was nowhere to be found and is still missing.
