Ohio State Highway Patrol Finds Semi Trailer Packed With $6.1 Million In Cocaine

The Ohio State Highway Patrol found millions of dollars in cocaine in a semi-trailer last Friday.

According to a patrol statement, investigators seized 154 pounds of cocaine worth $6.3 million during a commercial vehicle inspection on Interstate 70 near London, Ohio, on Friday, January 23.

The drugs were discovered concealed inside wooden cabinets in a semi-trailer.

The driver, Omar Gonzalez-Flores, 46, of Ecatepec, Mexico, was charged with:

• Drug possession (felony)

The suspect was booked into the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Authorities say the seizure is part of a larger trend, with the patrol seized 1,607 pounds of cocaine on Ohio roadways in 2026.
