Over 50 People Arrested During Operation In Columbus, Us Marshals Says

A collaboration between federal authorities and Ohio agencies led to the arrests of over 50 people in Columbus over the last two weeks, the U.S. Marshals Service said.

According to a release, over 50 wanted individuals residing in government-subsidized housing were apprehended during a six-day operation known as “Operation Clean House.”

The Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, the US Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol all participated in the operation.

Some of those arrested include the following:

“The success of this operation is a direct result of outstanding interagency cooperation. Working with the U.S. Marshals Service and HUD, we were able to serve arrest warrants and remove dangerous individuals from our community safely and effectively,” said FCSO Sheriff Dallas Baldwin.
