An 18-year-old who was reported missing to Phoenix police has recently been discovered dead in the West Valley.
On January 19, a Phoenix officer received a missing report for Yessenia Norman from the institution where she had been residing. According to Phoenix police, Norman was discovered dead in Tolleson on January 28.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined that Norman died as a result of homicide.
Tolleson police have not confirmed whether they are investigating Norman’s death, but the agency recently stated that a person was discovered dead at an apartment complex near 91st Avenue and Interstate 10 on January 28. Tolleson police are conducting a homicide investigation into the killing.
