A woman from New Matamoras is facing various drug and child endangerment charges after a welfare check in late January, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded to a welfare check on Jan. 29 and discovered that the living conditions were in bad shape. During the investigation, deputies discovered drug paraphernalia and controlled substances in plain sight and easily accessible to two youngsters inside the home.
