Man charged after video shows him using racial slurs inside local Walmart

State Police and the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office have charged a man with several crimes, including ethnic intimidation, after an incident inside a Pittsburgh-area Walmart was caught on tape.

In a viral video made inside a Walmart in Rostraver, 36-year-old Michael Todora of Speers, Washington County, was seen verbally abusing a Black woman with insults.

They say they’re collaborating with Rostraver Police, the FBI, and the local District Attorney’s Office. The woman in the video, Augusta Goll, spoke with KDKA’s Marty Griffin last month.

She stated that the words he used upset her and that she received an apology letter following the incident.

Goll stated that she forgives him because “why not, we are human.”

Todora also faces charges of harassment and disorderly conduct.

Troopers said the investigation is still ongoing, and anyone with information may call PSP Belle Vernon at 724-929-6262.
