A 60-year-old woman who had been reported missing was discovered dead inside her home on Saturday afternoon.
Sandra Shanks, of Newark, was found unresponsive around 1:15 p.m. on February 7.
She was pronounced dead at 1:36 p.m. The incident is still under investigation, but foul play is not suspected, according to Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr.
