The man accused of exposing himself in a Woodlawn dollar store is in custody, according to police.
Nicholas Freeland, 24, is charged with one count of public obscenity, according to Hamilton County court records.
He was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center about 9 a.m. on Monday, February 9.
On Thursday, February 5, Woodlawn police asked the public for assistance in locating a suspect who reportedly exposed himself at Dollar Tree in the 10500 block of Springfield Pike.
The police claimed a man followed a woman throughout the store before attempting to grab her and exposing himself in the center.
Detective Patrick Sublet stated that the suspect fled the store via the parking lot and was seen fleeing through the gas pumps at a nearby Kroger.
Sublet further stated that the man could face additional penalties if he attempted to touch the victim inside the store.
As of yet, Freeland’s only charge is public obscenity.
Court records indicate that this is his first criminal charge in Hamilton County.
