Bloomington Police announced on Tuesday that they had arrested 30 people in connection with a human trafficking sting operation.
One of the people arrested allegedly works as a federal employee hiring ICE agents. Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges stated that 30 adult men were arrested after the investigation began on February 4.
Bloomington Police have previously launched sting operations in which undercover police pretend to be children in order to arrest people prepared to pay for sex with a minor. In November 2025, Hodges announced the arrest of 16 individuals in a similar sting operation.
