A woman who was wanted in Alabama was apprehended in Mississippi by licensed bounty hunters.
According to Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten, Latoya Hill, 30, was sought in Huntsville, Alabama, for failure to appear and theft by deception.
He stated that Alabama authorities had added Hill to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database as a wanted fugitive. The sheriff stated that the licensed recovery agents identified and arrested Hill without incident.
She was later placed into the Adams County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. Patten stated that Hill will stay in detention at the Adams County Sheriff’s Office until she is extradited to Alabama.
