A woman wore a wig and used a fake ID during an attempt to withdraw money from a victim’s bank account, according to South Windsor police.
The suspect was identified as Anna Hardee, 47, of Brooklyn, New York.
According to police, the incident occurred Friday about 2:50 p.m. inside the American Eagle Federal Credit Union on Buckland Road.
They were informed that a woman wearing a wig attempted to withdraw $1,500 from a victim’s bank account using a phony ID.
Hardee was arrested on accusations of fourth-degree criminal attempt at larceny, second-degree identity theft, and second-degree forgery.
She was freed on a $10,000 non-surety bail and assigned a court date of March 4 in Manchester.
