Tafari Ron Clauzel, 23, of Fort Washington, has been charged with the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Glenarden resident Cornelius Wilson, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
On Monday, May 19, at about 12:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Wood Hollow Terrace for a reported shooting, where they discovered Wilson outside with several gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators said Clauzel and Wilson knew each other and were “in an ongoing dispute.”
Using “various investigative techniques,” detectives identified Clauzel as the culprit, according to authorities.
He was arrested in Broward County, Florida, on unrelated charges and is scheduled to be extradited to Maryland to face first-degree murder charges.
The shooting remains under investigation.
