Authorities have arrested a man for allegedly trying to kidnap a child in Las Vegas, and they fear there may be further victims.
Vice detectives arrested Kendrick Weatherspoon, 47, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, after he reportedly attempted to lure and kidnap a youngster, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
He’s charged with first-degree attempted kidnapping of a juvenile, luring a child/mentally ill person, and child abuse or neglect.
No other information about the charges was given.
Police suspect there may be witnesses or further victims. He might have tried to entice other victims into a green sedan with gold rims.

According to court records, Weatherspoon’s initial appearance was planned for Wednesday morning.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board website states that Weatherspoon is on the list of excluded persons, popularly known as the “black book,” which prohibits people from entering the state’s gaming establishments.
