The Florida Lottery reported that Yvonne Hill-Mckinnie of Boynton Beach recently won a $1 million top prize in the $1,000,000 Holiday Ca$h scratch-off game.
The Palm Beach County woman chose to receive her prize in one lump sum payment of $606,700.
The South Florida woman bought her winning ticket at Publix, which is located at 6627 Boynton Beach Boulevard in Boynton Beach.
She claimed her award at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
This $20 $1,000,000 Holiday Ca$h scratch-off ticket has a grand prize of $1 million. With the potential to win up to 21 times per ticket, this game produced more than three million winning tickets and over $125 million in total cash prizes. According to the Florida Lottery, only one top reward remains.
The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.68.
Scratch-off games are a key part of the Lottery’s range of games, accounting for over 74% of ticket sales in fiscal year 2023-2024. Furthermore, since their establishment, scratch-off games have awarded over $66.9 billion in prizes, created 2,350 billionaires, and raised more than $20.09 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
