A Mexican man was sentenced to seven years in prison for conspiring to distribute drugs in Arizona.
Jesus Guillermo Valenzuela-Ramirez, 30, was sentenced to 90 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment. He was convicted of conspiracy to distribute meth.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona, Valenzuela-Ramirez and his co-conspirators possessed approximately 100 pounds of methamphetamine.
Authorities said Valenzuela-Ramirez and his co-conspirators planned to transfer the drugs to another person in July 2024.
