Three people were injured during a shooting at Virginia Beach’s Town Center early Sunday morning.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Market Street shortly after 2 a.m. on a complaint of gunfire. When authorities arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police claim a third victim was later discovered away from the scene.
Following an investigation, investigators identified the culprit as Davon D. Wright, 32, of Virginia Beach. He was taken into custody without incident.
He’s facing the following charges:
- Three counts of Malicious Wounding
- Three counts of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony
- Discharging a Firearm in Public Causing Injury
Police say the inquiry is still ongoing.
