El Paso gang member on the Texas Most Wanted list apprehended in Mexico

Elijah Turner Reyes, 25, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and know El Paso gang member, was apprehended in Mexico.

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) stated that Reyes was a documented Piru (Bloods) gang member, and that a Crime Stoppers reward would be paid for his arrest.

According to DPS, Reyes was deported back to the United States and turned over to American authorities on February 21, based on information provided by an anonymous tipster.

The El Paso Police Department has wanted Reyes since May 2025 for murder, as well as earlier warrants for burglary of habitation, possession of a prohibited narcotic, and assaulting a pregnant woman.
