3 Charged In Deadly Shooting In Penn Hills

Three men have been charged in connection with the deadly shooting in Penn Hills.

The shooting occurred in the 200 block of Universal Road shortly before midnight on December 5, 2024.

Allegheny County police said first responders arrived to find Vanderlee Stevenson, 21, who had been shot. Stevenson was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

A few hours later, county police were informed that another man, 23-year-old Trevor Twyman, had been shot in the hand and had arrived at a local hospital.

Detectives concluded that Twyman, 24-year-old Kelshon Lovelace, and 18-year-old Lemoyne Williams were responsible for the shooting after conducting interviews and reviewing surveillance footage.

All three are charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy, and carrying a firearm without a license.

Lovelace and Twyman are in jail on separate charges, according to police, while Williams was detained Thursday and transported to the Allegheny County Jail pending arraignment.
