Massachusetts Man Indicted In Connection With Body Discovered Wrapped In Blankets Outside Hospital Er

After buying drugs together in Boston, officials say a man drove another man’s car to South Shore Hospital, leaving it outside the emergency room—with the car’s owner deceased in the back seat.

Christopher Caron, 42, of Scituate, earlier pled not guilty to one count of murder in the death of Declan Perry, 27, of Portland, Maine, and was denied bail. On Friday, a Plymouth County Grand Jury indicted Caron on murder charges in connection with Perry’s death.

Caron then wrapped Perry’s body in moving blankets and duct taped it. According to investigators, Caron and the lady removed the body from the Scituate basement, using a wooden door as a stretcher.

They placed the body in Perry’s Honda Civic, where “several neighbors” spotted and assisted Caron as he struggled, according to the district attorney’s office.

Investigators also discovered crimson and brown stains in the Scituate residence. A door was also stained red-brown, as were a blouse and sweater.

Caron is scheduled for a hearing in Superior Court at a later date.
