A 30-year-old was detained after police said he was meeting a 13-year-old at a hotel in Bristol, Virginia.
The Bristol, Virginia, Police Department announced that Truong Dinh Nguyen, of Virginia Beach, has been charged with one count of carnal knowledge of a child aged 13 to 15.

Officers said they launched their investigation after a 13-year-old girl’s relatives reported her missing on Tuesday.
The following day, investigators say they found her in a motel with Nguyen. Police said he purposely came to Bristol to meet with this juvenile.
On the scene, they apprehended him. The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail is currently holding him without bond.
