Police found the suspect’s vehicle on I-30, and when they attempted to pull him over, he flung an object from his car and ran away from the officer.

Police eventually determined that the item thrown from the car was cocaine.

Officers pursued the man as he drove off the interstate and down the service road into Mesquite.

At one point, the suspect struck a biker, who landed on top of the automobile.

Police claim the culprit drove with the bicycle rider on top of the car until they slid off at the next intersection.

The suspect then collided with two stopped cars at a traffic light.

Police said the suspect fled the area but was apprehended by officers shortly after.

Mesquite resident Justin Johnson, 33, was identified as the suspect.

He is charged with fleeing arrest, assault, and tampering with evidence.

The cyclist and one of the drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, Johnson had an active parole violation warrant.

Information about the parole breach was not immediately available.
