Andreas Madrigal, a 19-year-old disabled man from Toledo, was found dead in the Maumee River, according to his family, after being reported missing.
The family reported him missing on Wednesday.
Toledo police issued a missing person notice for Mr. Madrigal on Friday, stating that he had developmental disorders, was a high-functioning autistic, and had bipolar disorder. Later that day, a boater discovered his body in the water.
The Lucas County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy on Sunday and will release information once the family is notified, according to Dr. Thomas Blomquist, the county coroner.
