A Lawrence man has been sentenced to 42 years in jail after being found guilty of 25 counts, including rape and domestic violence with a deadly weapon.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office stated on Thursday that Jaylen White had been sentenced to 42 years in prison, including 23 years in the Indiana Department of Correction, two years in Marion County Community Corrections (home detention), and four years of sex offender probation. The rest of the sentence is suspended.

Following a bifurcated court trial, White was found guilty on 25 counts, including numerous instances of rape, criminal imprisonment, and domestic battery with a deadly weapon. The charges come from a brutal domestic attack and rape committed in September 2024.
