A 20-year-old’s cause of death is being investigated after she was discovered dead in Brays Bayou.

Initially, Jade McKissic, 20, was reported missing. According to reports, she was last seen on September 11 exiting the 3700 block of North MacGregor Way.
Houston Police confirmed to FOX 26 that McKissic died on Monday, September 15, in Brays Bayou.
Jade McKissic attended the University of Houston. According to The Cougar, she was a junior studying strategic communications and advertising.
In a message to students, the university described McKissic as “a campus resident and student employee, as well as a friend to many in our community.”
According to records, the reason of McKissic’s death has yet to be identified.
