A hospital member stated 47-year-old Dr. Rajesh Lall was fired and ordered not to return to the site in January. However, the woman stated that he continued to text her on her personal cellphone.

According to the arrest report, Lall arrived at the hospital and drove erratically through the parking lot before leaving and heading towards the building. Despite officers informing him that he was trespassing, issuing him a written trespass warning, and ordering him to leave, Lall allegedly refused, turned away, and attempted to return to his vehicle.

Police alleged that when they attempted to arrest Lall, he resisted and slammed an officer into a car door. He allegedly continued to resist cops’ attempts to handcuff him. Officers then used a Taser.

According to authorities, Lall was charged with three counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, three charges of resisting an officer with violence, one act of resisting without violence, and one crime of trespassing after warning. He was also formally trespassed from the hospital grounds and Baker Acted.

Lall was medically cleared at the hospital and then transferred to the Polk County Jail, where he has since bonded out.

It is unclear why Lall was fired from the Bartow Regional Medical Center earlier this year.

Lall, of Lakeland, is thought to have been associated with numerous local medical providers, including the Bartow Regional Medical Center, Lakeland Regional Medical Center, and Premier Heart and Vascular Center, which specializes in cardiovascular problems.
