A man with a significant criminal record was arrested on Friday afternoon for allegedly stealing a bicycle from the Mulberry Walmart.
Bruce Roy Bradshaw, 40, of Mulberry, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. This latest event adds to Bradshaw’s extensive criminal past, which includes eleven felony convictions, fourteen minor convictions, and three prior state prison sentences.
Deputies arrived at the Mulberry Walmart at about 2:45 p.m. on Friday after receiving a report of a stolen bicycle. Authorities suspect Bradshaw of stealing a $250 green Ozark bicycle.
Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office promptly found Bradshaw at a 7-Eleven about a half-mile away from Walmart. He was ultimately caught and charged with felony petit theft.
Walmart has also trespassed Bradshaw, preventing him from entering the premises in the future.
