The Texas Attorney General’s Office, Texas Highway Patrol Troopers, and DPS Special Agents all worked together to apprehend Odom. He was found and arrested at his workplace. Odom had been wanted since June 2025, when a Harris County warrant was issued for his arrest for failing to follow sex offender registration standards, according to the source.

Odom was sentenced to 12 years in jail after being convicted in 1992 of burglary with the purpose to violate or abuse the victim sexually. He has also received repeated convictions for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements and violence resulting in bodily injury to a family member. Odom was last released by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in March 2022.

The arrest was made possible by information submitted to Texas Crime Stoppers, and a reward will be offered, according to the news release. Authorities cautioned that Odom should be considered armed and dangerous. Texas Travel Guides Houston Event Tickets
