The former leader of an American Legion post, who authorities say skipped his court date after being accused of stealing funds, is under police arrest in Pennsylvania.
Dale Mosher was arrested last year for second-degree grand larceny. Prosecutors claim he took more than $92,000 from the Geneva American Legion post over at least five years.

Mosher did not appear in court on September 18, officials said. Mosher visited his sister in Tennessee before driving her vehicle to central Pennsylvania, according to investigators.
“During this time, three victims, now from Geneva, two from the city and one who resides in the town, received letters that were very threatening, and two people’s lives were threatened,” said Ontario County Sheriff David Cirencione. “Two of the three people are witnesses in the case against Mr. Mosher. The third is a relative.”
The sheriff stated that the letters were postmarked from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
According to investigators, additional charges may be filed as local police and the USPS conduct their investigation.
Mosher is presently awaiting extradition to Ontario County.
