The Brazoria County Constable’s Office Precinct 1 announced a successful joint operation with the VIPER Task Force (Harris County Multi-Agency Violent Person Warrants Task Force), Brazoria County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office—Constable James Brawner, and the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office that resulted in the arrest of a wanted fugitive.
On Tuesday, law enforcement officers apprehended Elijah Salina near the 14000 block of County Road 48 in the Rosharon area. Salina was wanted outside of Harris County for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon (felony 1). Authorities also revealed that Salina is a documented member of the Five Deuce Hoover Gangster Crips who has been evading capture since September 2025.
“This is a great example of what can be accomplished when multiple agencies come together with one goal—keeping our communities safe,” the Constable’s Office said in a statement. “We take pride in being tough on crime and doing everything within the law to protect the citizens of Brazoria County from violent fugitives and gang activity.”
The Constable’s Office added a lighthearted note: “Consider this a friendly reminder—Brazoria County isn’t the best place to play hide and seek. We take the ‘seeking’ part very seriously.”
Officials thanked all participating agencies, emphasizing the importance of partnership in ensuring public safety across county lines.
