2 Saltillo Men Arrested In Extensive Narcotics Investigation

Two men have been charged after the Lee County Sheriff’s Department and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant in the Saltillo region of Lee County last week following a thorough narcotics investigation.

During the operation, David Keith Clark was detained at his home and charged with many drug-related felonies as well as firearm infractions.

David Brandon Clark was also detained at a different location on an outstanding felony warrant for trafficking, which was related to the same investigation.

This investigation is still active and ongoing, with the Lee County Sheriff’s Department warning that more arrests may occur as new developments emerge.

(1) Arrested: David Keith Clark; 63, resident of the Saltillo area of Lee County

Charges:

* Trafficking of a Schedule II Controlled Substance—METHAMPHETAMINE

* Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance—METHAMPHETAMINE

* Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (This charge will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.)

Bond was set at $250,000.00 by a Lee County Justice Court Judge.

(2) Arrested: David Brandon Clark, 40, resident of the Saltillo area of Lee County

Charges:

* Trafficking of a Schedule II Controlled Substance—METHAMPHETAMINE

Bond was set at $250,000.00 by a Lee County Justice Court Judge.
