An Alabama man, taken into custody in Lafourche Parish in October, has now been arrested in St. John the Baptist Parish for making several swatting calls to local addresses.
Korey Flood, 25, of Mobile, was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 11, after posting bond on Oct. 24 at the Lafourche Parish jail.

According to St. John deputies, they received many requests for assistance from August 2025 to October 2025, with the caller reporting various crimes in progress as well as other alleged criminal activity at St. John homes.
All of the calls resulted in emergency responses from the sheriff’s office.
Each call was determined to be false.
Throughout the inquiry, officers in St. John and Mobile determined that each call came from Flood, an Alabama resident.
Flood was examined by St. John officers, during which he acknowledged that he had fabricated emergency calls for service and claimed fictitious criminal activity.
He was arrested in Alabama and extradited to St. John’s Parish. His bond is set at $75,000.
