The teenager suspected of pulling the trigger in a shooting at a Scottsdale bus stop last month was detained on Thursday, according to authorities.
The Scottsdale Police Department reported that this was the third arrest in the investigation.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. on May 24th, following a verbal altercation between three teenagers and a man on a bus, according to police.
A 17-year-old teenager allegedly shot the victim after they all got off the bus around Scottsdale Road and Main Street. The teenagers then departed the scene.
The victim had a gunshot wound to the lower body. Police claimed he was treated in a hospital and released within 24 hours.

On May 28, investigators recovered surveillance camera footage of the suspects and released an image to the media and community.
Community tips led to the discovery and detention of two 16-year-old suspects, a boy and a girl, that day.
The boy was jailed on misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charges, while the female was booked on misdemeanor disorderly conduct. They were both released after being booked.
The 17-year-old alleged shooter was captured at his Phoenix home at 5:15 a.m. on Thursday and charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office will decide whether to prosecute him as an adult.
Police did not release the suspects’ identities since they are juveniles.
