Authorities are releasing limited details about a major, multi-agency arrest operation that began before sunrise Tuesday in three counties.
While many people were subject to snow delays and school closures, scores of officers, including federal investigators, were undertaking a coordinated gathering of ten suspects.
Police apprehended Daniel Ullrick, Paul Prevost, Zach Williams, Clark Young, Corey Palmer, Jerry Barnett, Benjamin Bowlan, Robert Conner, Kristopher Gardner, and Eric Haydrch.
All ten criminal complaints remain secret, restricting what investigators can say. However, Channel 11 has confirmed the arrests as part of a massive tactical sweep involving:
- Pennsylvania State Police
- SERT
- Washington County District Attorney’s Office detectives
- Sheriff’s deputies
- The FBI
- The ATF
- Three SWAT teams
According to the available charging documents, the suspects face several serious charges, including riot, corrupt organizations, robbery, and assault.
One charge description refers to a shooting and a beating.
One of the accused, Corey Palmer, has been charged with reckless endangerment. According to his criminal complaint, Palmer “recklessly engaged in conduct that may have placed unknown, probable ‘Wardog’ members in danger of death or serious bodily injury.”
According to the complaint, Palmer shot five rounds into the air and the ground, aimed the gun at many individuals, and was involved in an altercation in which a victim was held down and abused.
Investigators have not commented on whether the suspects are linked to a specific case or organization, and no agencies are offering any information at this time.
This is a developing story.
