Two Central Florida men were caught during an evening car burglary attempt.
The attempted car burglary was reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies went to the crime scene in Davenport’s Atlantica Town Center neighborhood, which is located off Old Lake Wilson Road.

According to local law enforcement, the suspects ran on foot and jumped a fence, but the Aviation Unit and K-9 led officers to the pair, who were trying to hide.
They were taken into custody and identified as Warren Accoo III, 19, and Brian Cruz, 18, both from Davenport.
The pair was taken to the Sheriff’s Processing Center and charged with attempted conveyance burglary, trespassing on a construction site, and resisting without violence.
