A woman was taken into custody in connection with several burglaries, mail thefts, armed robberies, and vehicle thefts in Chicago and northern Cook County.
Veronica Cavallari, 29, was charged with felon in possession of a weapon, possessing a firearm with a defaced serial number, and criminal damage to government property, according to the US Postal Inspection Service.

Authorities said further charges for burglary and auto theft are pending.
She was arrested and booked on December 15.
