The search for missing Air Force veteran Brian Klecha in Florida continues.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is still searching for information on Lakeland Air Force veteran Brian Edward Klecha, who went missing in 2017.
“Eight years have passed and we are just as committed as ever to finding out the truth of what happened,” said FDLE Tampa Special Agent in Charge Mark Brutnell.
Brian Klecha was last observed completing a banking transaction at Auburndale’s MIDFLORIDA Credit Union on December 27, 2017.
According to FDLE, he has ties to Orange, Polk, and Hillsborough Counties and is an employee of the Disney Corporation. Klecha was 35 years old when he vanished.
Klecha’s Jeep Patriot was discovered abandoned on State Road 618 near the Morgan Street exit in Tampa on February 11, 2018. Investigators believe the Jeep had been in a car collision a few days earlier.
Agents believe Klecha was a victim of domestic or drug abuse and did not leave or go missing on his own.
“If you have any information that can help us locate Brian, no matter how small, call us,” said Brutnell. “Even the tiniest shred of information can bring him that much closer to coming home.”
If you have any information about the location or disappearance of Brian Edward Klecha, please contact Special Agent Rich Rodriguez at 813-878-7347.
