Two men were found dead at a recycling center in North Portland last week, and homicide police are working to find out what led up to their deaths.
The men were separate on two different days at the Waste Management Recycling Center on North Hunt Street. The first was discovered on Monday, January 5, and the second on Friday, January 9.
“Our employees spotted something that did not seem right and quickly shut everything down before calling police,” a Waste Management spokeswoman told KATU News.
The Medical Examiner’s Office is still working to determine the identities of the two people, as well as the cause and manner of death.
