A New Cumberland man was released on bail after being caught on camera molesting a 7-year-old girl, according to court documents.
Zachary C. Yohn, 20, was charged with indecent assault and minor corruption following the incident on January 30.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by West Shore Regional Police:
Yohn was watching over the victim and her siblings at a Wormleysburg home while her mother was away.
The affidavit states that the security camera captured him kissing and touching the 7-year-old in a sexual manner. In court documents, police did not reveal the location of the surveillance cameras.
According to court documents, Yohn told police that the “relationship turned sexual” approximately a week ago and that the kissing and touching occurred several times.
Yohn remained in Cumberland County Prison from January 30 to February 5 before being released on $40,000 bail.
Court records reveal that he waived his preliminary hearing. The case was sent to Cumberland County court.
