A death investigation has been launched after two people were discovered shot to death Wednesday night inside a home on Chicago’s Southwest Side.
Around 8 p.m., first responders discovered a 70-year-old male and a 43-year-old woman inside a residence near 45th Street and Albany Avenue in the Brighton Park area, police said.
The woman suffered a gunshot wound to the face, while the man had a gunshot wound to the head. Both of them were pronounced dead on the scene.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office recognized them Thursday morning as Harry and Ann Kirkpatrick. They both lived at the address where the shooting occurred.
There has been no information revealed concerning their relationship.
Area One detectives are conducting an investigation.
