Brown County sheriff’s deputies discovered the body of a missing man in a creek on Thursday, authorities said.
Deputies identified Tommy Richmond, 39, as the missing man, last seen at 6 a.m. on January 31. A missing person report was filed after he was reported missing.

According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Richmond’s body was discovered in a creek on South Second Street in Ripley.
The sheriff’s office is cooperating with the Brown County Coroner’s Office to identify the cause of death. The investigation is underway.
