A battalion chief with the Cleveland Fire Department was apprehended for OVI this week.
On March 2, Macedonia police cited Cleveland Fire Battalion Chief George Greer, age 56.
On March 4, Greer appeared in Stow Municipal Court and pled not guilty to misdemeanor charges of OVI, refusal, and failure to control.
Greer was elevated to battalion chief in January, according to city officials in Cleveland.
