Police said the mother of a 2-year-old discovered alone at a local hotel has been located.
The child was discovered in an elevator at the Cleveland Marriott East, 26300 Harvard Road, at 7:45 a.m. on Friday, March 20, according to a news release from police.
Police officers searched every hotel room for the child’s parents, but no one was able to identify the child, according to the release.
The Warrensville Police Department released a brief update Friday evening that the child’s mother had been located.
“Thank you everyone for your assistance,” the police department wrote on social media.
