A Tupelo man was arrested on various narcotics charges following an investigation by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said that MBN agents executed a search warrant at a Tupelo residence on Wednesday, March 18. Christopher Clay Beckwith, 34, was detained during an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking, which is a Schedule II controlled substance.

According to DPS, Beckwith is charged with:
- Aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine
- Trafficking of cocaine
- Possession with intent to sell/deliver of hallucinogens
- Possession with intent to sell/deliver of synthetic stimulants
- Possession with intent to sell/deliver of MDMA (ecstasy)
MBN said agents seized:
- About 603.2 grams of methamphetamine
- About 30.7 grams of cocaine
- About 21.0 grams of MDMA (ecstasy)
- About 2.0 grams of ketamine
- About 31 dosage units of alprazolam (Xanax)
- About 13 dosage units of unknown white pills
- About 3 dosage units of unknown orange pills
- About 40.4 grams of an unknown brown powder
- Two ledger books
- Two working digital scales
- $1,360 in cash, believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales
