A 46-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing his wife, who was in Gilbert hospice care, authorities said on June 12.
Gilbert police responded to a hospice care facility near Lindsay and Williams Field roads just after 9 a.m. on June 11. Memory care personnel reported to authorities that a 58-year-old woman had “suspicious bruising and markings” when she was discovered dead about 3 a.m.
The suspect, Justin Davidson, informed officers assigned to the case that he had “direct involvement” in his wife’s death.
The identity of Davidson’s wife was not revealed.
Davidson was arrested on one count of first-degree murder and taken into the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
No other information was provided.
